alexandra rivera

aritst statement!

alexandra rivera (alex, she/they) is a new york-based graphic designer and video editor. born and raised in queens, new york, alex is finishing up her associate's degree in digital media at laguardia community college.

aside from being a student, she is also a student success mentor at laguardia, where she aids hundreds of students develop and create their digital portfolios and manages the social media pages for the student success mentors program.

in her design, alex takes inspiration from the nostalgia of the early 2000's and loves incorporating the style from that decade into her work. a majority of her works feature pastel colors and bold fonts.

after graduating from laguardia, she plans to transfer to queens college, where she will study new media technology through the cuny ba program. in the future, she wants to be a graphic designer, social media manager, filmmaker, and develop scripts for television shows and video games!
